Warriors,
So, you've just bought that new book about relationships...you've just attend that seminar on financial freedom, you've just been given a promotion, gotten married, had a kid leave the nest and you think that it's all going to get better? Now you can sit back and relax?
Wrong.
I know very few very wealthy men (and I do know a few) who just sit around all day watching the maid polish their new Porsche. I know very few men and women who teach relationship workshops (and I know a few) who wouldn't like to tear their own hair out. (Why do you think I'm bald?) I know very few child educators (and I know a lot) who haven't failed time and time again with their own children...
The BRUTAL HONESTY is that your problems will never go away. If they do, it's only because it's time for a new one.
Doesn't matter what book you read or which GURU you listen too (and I've listen to a few of them), because your problems are not designed to go away until YOU go away.
See, we create our problems. We are our problems. The more illuminated we become, the more illuminated our problems become.
How you solve them is what changes. Changing your habits and patterns takes time. You could get rich and change your financial picture very quickly, but how you deal with life...that takes time to un-create and recreate.
So give yourself some slack and cut yourself a break. As they say in Narcotics Anonymous, "Relax...this will take a while."
When will your constant and never ending improvement end? Uuhhhh...never.
The day you are done growing is the day you have died. So, Warriors, if you are not dead, take a deep breath, spread your arms and embrace whatever challenge you face.
Fight the good fight.
Aaron
